All of the driving forces behind fascism are still there. If they don’t successfully make progress on the oligarchy they’ll be facing this threat again and again, except each time more powerful. It was close this time already.

Not trying to by doom and gloom. It’s how they work, and those fighting fascism are often unwilling to see and act on that, finding themselves with an erroding support base as they get picked off with fear mongering and other propaganda.

I have no such hope for the US unfortunately.
