    from everything I’ve learned so far, the only way to preserve privacy and anonymity on the internet is to never use it again

      This goes beyond privacy, it’s an actual security threat. Fingerprints on touch interfaces can be read accurately by cameras as well. That leaves what? YubiKeys?

        It is a security threat, but only over an already compromised system.

        They have to have access to your microphone or a microphone in your room.

        Another path could be over a video call, but filtering out keystrokes is pretty easy, so that’s not a big deal.

        I guess in a public place it could be an issue? But, a camera could obviously do that already.
