For two weeks, a client from China's state-run academic network queried our Mastodon instance for who follows whom. Not content — relationships. No project description exists anywhere. Here is what we found, and how to check your own instance.

Fascinating data presented in a clearly AI written or at least heavily edited format that makes it really hard to read without massive skepticism.

Please provide some evidence that this is AI written.

Dude, AI detectors do not work and those idiots running them are increasing the harm done by AI, because now people and students have to defend themselves against AI-usage allegations. Your tool even says “confidence limited” and “We believe that this text is 100% AI”, which is really idiotic.

            You asked for evidence.

List out the evidence you accept.

              Let’s ask the author.

Hey @martinmuc@muenchen.social can you help us here?

You never had a standard for accepting evidence? Why did you even ask then?
