Idk if it’s really possible to have government supported internet that isn’t a government controlled internet.
Governance in general relies a lot on the spiral of silence, and a free internet tends to disrupt it.

Yes, bow to me, the grand architect of geocities Dragon Ball Z pages.

Hoping it’s true, generally when I see posts about how strong and successful something is, it hits like a warning sign that it’s struggling / at risk and someone is trying to project growth for attraction / retention.
I assume I’m not the only one with this kind of mental filter. Maybe there’s a way to go about it that would get the impression across without ringing that alarm?
Maybe a show don’t tell kind of tact? Like “check out all this new content being generated by the influx of users”… or a backhanded thing like “here’s how to protect your insrance against recent traffic surges”?
Idk I’m no expert. Hope it’s helpful but otherwise just ignore me~

There are some Pi rigs like that.

Thank you very much.

Kinda hijacking, pardon me, but is there anyone reading who’d be willing to explain the specifics of “Microsoft eats boot sectors” or direct me to some documents?
I have a laptop with Microsoft / Linux partitioned on a single internal drive dual booting between them and have never… well never known that I had such an issue, but I’ve broken it in a lot of creative ways, and maybe this Microsoft greedy boot behavior would inform some of it and help me make it smoother

I wonder which data centers with Chinese affiliations are in the way of Trump’s buddies’ data centers
Grab a few usb sticks and put different images on them to try some different OS’s. Get a feel for how easy they are to install / config / use.
Then put your favorite on your internal drive, and maybe keep a couple of specialized sticks for whatever: troubleshooting, browsing, streaming, gaming, office…
Everyone on the construction yard was intimately familiar with this.
Randall needs more outdoors time.

UI’s peaked with the CLI. It’s all been downhill from there

Vim sorely underrated. Great tools/hotkeys. Felt like a master pianist clacking away while the terminal went berserk until suddenly the 2 hour job was done in 20 minutes.
