I like Rockets, Space, Computers, Linux, Camping and Climbing. tryna get into Airsoft and mayhaps also Swordfighting.
:3

Fedora is upstream of RHEL, not the other way around.
Honestly, I’m not really sure if anyone can help you here. Sounds like you’re already quite experienced with linux and know what you’re looking for and what you need.
Most people seeing your requirements would probably say Fedora, as it’s pretty up to date but still stable. I might recommend debian testing if you want slightly more cutting edge.
Frankly, I think you know best what you need and you should see what fits you :)

maybe there is, probably not. Apple specifically is known to be extremely careful with this kind of stuff since apple products tend to get stolen often and this kind of locking down can prevent that.

what kind of devices are we talking? (phones, laptops etc) specifics would be helpful
I mean… I would consider Omarchy to be a “real distro”, but nonetheless not one I would ever use. It did start out as just a config… but atp if you don’t call it a distro then like 60% of “distros” also wouldn’t be that, Archcraft or Artix for example.
I still wonder why the asshole maker DHH is getting millions though, more than the Linux Foundation, GNOME and KDE ever got combined… what a shitty thing
wow, posting an AI response to a problem about AI… real helpful

wrong sub
I am… so confused. Can someone explain to me concretely what this means? Like I know what the Fediverse etc is but like… this post is written really confusingly
oh, huh. Maybe it’s a SystemD service then, which would be disableable with sudo systemctrl disable akonadi
really? usually KDE based distros have it preinstalled, in Kubuntu for example there’s literally an app called “system services” or “background services” where you can do this. but i’m glad you figured it out
It’s not. look up “services” in your app launcher
Disable it by going to “system services” and disabling it

I guess this is how it starts. A ton of exploits being found and patched is good imo, even if it would be better if they didn’t exist ofc

…so it’s another copy fail and dirtyfrag?

what??? I thought it’s not even for sale yet?
Omarchy also has its own repos though…
