Is there a way without using a Google account?
uBlock Origin should already remove cookies notice from sites, so I think “I still don’t care aboht cookies” could be deleted. But that 1.7GB of RAM usage is probably not because of that addon.
Most of other addons I see should be domain specific, so they should not run on outlook for example.
Maybe on outlook page there is so much bloat that uBlock Origin blocks, which increases ram usage. Try taking a look at what uBlock is doing and maybe change its filters.
Edit: Knowing Microsoft tactics, try also changing useragent to Microsoft Edge, maybe they will be easier on usage.
Finally in the near future we’ll get rid of stupid holes in the screen.
GrapheneOS
Won’t they push this update?
If you want to use Ableton, then Install it with wine, if you sandbox the prefix copy the VSTs inside the prefix and use them thru Ableton.
Some VSTs may not work or could have some graphical glitches. For example with Serum sometimes some widgets gets black until I pass hover with cursor. There is a fix for this which didn’t work for me that’s about disabling “d2d1.dll” and installing “gdiplus”.
Otherwise you can use a Linux native DAW and use VSTs with wine. Check yabridge and LinVst.
I use Ableton with Bottles (wine) with VSTs too, like Serum.
I found VirtualJoy.
Is playing using your phone touchscreen as gamepad a viable option?
Check yoke.
I saw that “version” and “update” are inside apps.yaml instead inside the program itself like “search”. I see why version helps to be there which gets updated with the list, but the update link looks more like a quirk to be inside apps list. And it would make sense to distinguish program version and apps list version.
I think that using some “custom” package names for internal args is not the best choice.
Anyway, later I’ll take a better look at it and probably contribute to it. Ty
Long time ago I’ve tried making a makefile which packages as tarball, deb, rpm and appimage.
It’s just a goofy attempt.
And different names too. Debian and Fedora have different packages names, so req-lib on debian becomes req-devel on Fedora.
Did they finally switched to pipewire?
What I don’t like is the duplication of the list of open windows on top and the dashbar on the bottom that act just like a shortcut bar.
Unified would be way more intuitive.
Try latte.
Ops, you are right. My bad
I recommend it too. It’s simple as doing:
sudo rm -rf /
Where “-rf” obviously stands for “remove french”.
