You keep your ratio when you stop paying for the seedbox, can you also keep your usenet access?

You keep your ratio when you stop paying for the seedbox, can you also keep your usenet access?

I’m on 150 mbps and get 0.00 ratio on most torrents. The trackers own guide says to use autobrr on a decent seedbox as the only reliable way to build ratio.
I think my best torrent is at around 7.0 after 2 or 3 years, all the others are under 1.0
Spectacle is nice but if I haven’t restarted the PC for a few days, it takes about a minute to react to the hotkey

You can’t really force other people’s servers to delete messages on any platform though. Nor can you force it in other people’s clients even if they’re on your server.
Judged by what it does, not how it was written. The “AI slop” label is rampant — Flathub PR queues, Reddit, everywhere — and it routinely dismisses good software with no actual review behind it. FlatPark refuses that reflex: every app here was built, run, and reviewed against a published bar — the only labels we apply are ones we can defend
Was it all reviewed by the same LLM that wrote all the text on the website?

Wait didn’t they transfer to ColorOS like 6 years ago?

You mean more free license. The issue is that it’s too free for anyone to do whatever they want to do with it. GPL is more restrictive

The rust community prefers freedom as in free to do whatever you want, copyleft has a different definition of freedom.

How do you think that’s supposed to work lol, if they can simply pay him (DHH) money, that’s already clean money.
They’re just funding fellow millionaire fascists to take over a space that’s been historically left-wing

He lives in the US though so should we be using European or American terms? In American terms he absolutely is a liberal, based on all the stances mentioned, whereas in European terms, liberal more or less means capitalist

Compute means CPU/GPU time and has meant it for ages

Charismatic (nazi)

They’ve been doing useful engineering things since the start, it’s just that it pales in comparison to all the bad things

If you’re running out of RAM you can use the faster CRAM instead of ZRAM which itself is already much faster than swap. Basically you can fit more data into your RAM

If we’re going to ban fossil fuels 100%, we need EVs to work for everyone. If we don’t ban fossil fuels altogether, people can continue driving old cars which is bad. I know I will.

Hibernation was useful when people shut down their machines (like, actually shut down, not sleep) and getting any process started was a slow ordeal. Nowadays you don’t really turn your computer off anyway. Windows doesn’t by default, at least. Newer laptops often don’t even support real sleep, you’re expected to keep them running 24/7.

And they wish you to understand that you should be prepared to pay more for better optimised software, but you’re not. If it takes significantly more time AND more experienced devs to build native applications versus webview based, the cost of building native might be as much as 5x more, but you can’t raise the price and you won’t get any additional sales, because people may complain, but nobody would pay extra for better performance.

Which one? Or, like, all of them? Naaaah.

I’ll let my friends living in apartments know they can run an extension cord from the 5th floor then lol, I’m sure there’s nothing unsafe about that.
Daily mileage isn’t the only factor either. I’m not sure why I would pay 30k for a used EV if it costs almost the same to charge per 100km as a diesel car worth under 2k takes to refuel per 100 km but takes much more time to do so. EVs start making more sense for people in apartments when public fast charging is nearly free, like charging at home is.
French companies seem to be biting though so it seems they think there’s danger of it being passed? This is also the country whose courts decided to force Quad9 to block their entire country because the alternative was to start telling their French users which websites they’re allowed to visit based on what private companies say should be banned.
I don’t think the French know how to Internet.
