It’s an “opportunity to see special offers.”
They’re aggressive parasites.
Driver distraction is a leading cause of accidents, including fatal ones. This is a total dealbreaker, should be illegal, and should result in Chrysler getting sued into nonexistence.
Well, he would say that, wouldn’t he?
“Sole flexibility” to do as he’s told or get sacked.
Seriously, fuck Spotify and anyone else using that error-prone, intrusive, insecure bullshit.
when the dems jumped on the “tiktik is spying on you! Evil CCP is turning the youth into communists!”
TikTok IS spying on you.
But it’s true that the evil CCP is no longer communist: just totalitarian crony capitalist.
debit = no rent
Funny, I rented from Hertz about two weeks ago and there was a big sign at the counter explaining their terms of business for renting with a debit card. And it didn’t say “We don’t do it.”
It’s designed to suck.
It works as Hertz intended. And that’s the problem.
AI is great for sensitivity (noticing potential issues), but terrible for specivity (giving many false positives).
AI is not uniqely prone to false positives; in this case, it’s being used deliberately to produce them.

I live in the UK and, like nearly everyone else in the UK, have never been required to do this. The only time it’s required is when accessing adult-only sites, and there are some obvious workarounds in those cases, yarr.
Don Quixote was a fool but not an asshole.
Besides bullying, what is the mechanism for enforcing such an executive order?
What the summary leaves out is that only two prototypes were ever built. Fuller couldn’t raise the needed capital to fund production. Fuller was a visionary, but lacked the mindset needed to control costs on a complex project.
A decade or so later, Joe Eichler built a number of suburban housing tracts in California, with houses of similar square footage, based on a rectangular-donut design including a central atrium, using low-cost construction techniques. They were affordable and (with the exception of having almost-flat roofs) well-designed. They were less innovative than Fuller’s house, but actually got built and sold. There are still neighborhoods of Eichlers, most notably in San Jose, Palo Alto and Marin County.
