I’m sorry, but you’re misreading what they mean by support in that article because I did read it. They’re still gonna give support regarding the ESU program as a whole(otherwise they would be sued for fraud), which includes installation, activation, and regressions of the program.
What they’re not going to be providing is general technical support which is a different beast, If you would like more information, you can read about it here as well.
