If you tried it in the past and had issues, try it again. It’s the best ui for using lemmy imo. I had been using arctic for a while but was getting bugs with clicking on notifications not leading me to the correct comment.
The testflight has experimental piefed support, don’t think notifications work there yet.
Voyager also has piefed support, and is my second favorite right now. Mlem is also stable, but i’m not a fan of the look no matter how I customize it.
Hey there! Main developer here 👋
Thanks for the mention! If you notice any bugs or issues, definitely reach out and let me know through our GitHub page or through our Matrix space.
I do try my best to check for issues on both Android/iOS on my personal devices, but it’s difficult to account for all other devices (especially performance-related ones)

That’s correct! The TestFlight version has initial support for PieFed but push notifications are not available yet due to some complications.
I wasn’t able to follow up on the announcement post for piefed support, but since this is a fresh thread: I noticed it throws an error when trying to load nested comments on the 3rd level and onwards. Not sure if that’s one of the current limitations for piefed support but wanted to let you know just in case. Thanks!
Hey! This issue has been noted and will be fixed in the next nightly build (planning to release that in the next few days)
I’ve been a Thunder user since day 1 and I agree it’s the best client. I was only forced to temporarily use Voyager for piefed support but now that Thunder is on board as well, I’m back. I do use Voyager on my desktop browser because tablet mode makes it function like Alexandrite, which hasn’t been updated for a while and doesn’t support piefed yet.
Major shout out to all the app developers for adding piefed support so quickly. It’s been really amazing to witness.
I’m currently using both Voyager and Boost. But also have Summit/Thunder/Bloorp/Interstellar installed lol.
Boost on Android has never steered me wrong.
I used thunder for a while on android and it was kinda slow, might give it a try again. I’m currently on Voyager.
It’s still a little slow for me on android but I prefer it in spite of that. I prefer the interface over anything else I’ve tried. I wouldn’t mind jerboa if I could get full size link previews that look just like image posts, but I think that’s still not an option.
I thought I was getting a bug with thunder but somehow it was actually a bug with my account- I’m grateful to have finally figured out how to see up and down votes again 😅
