That’s pretty ridiculous. For some it might be still a great option, staying clear of Google hardware and true hardened security for jobs where you need it. But they really plan to sell it as if it were made from gold.
Yep, I’ve been saying this. They are now slowly putting GOS out of reach for many. Pixels are slowly being locked down by Google to where GOS won’t be able to be installed on newer models, so the only option left will be these ridiculously priced Motorola’s or old Pixels that won’t be supported much longer. Really makes you wonder what is truly going on with GOS now.

Yea I can see it being mostly bought by companies (or drug lords) but for normal persons I don’t think many can justify the price…
I think rather of journalists, dissidents who can afford it etc.
