I’m trying to self host navidrome in docker with a cloudflare domain and reverse proxy on the same network. Still fiddling myself since I keep getting a 403 cloudflare no access error.
Essentially, using cert provided by cloudflare where they proxy to my ip. From there the reverse proxy routes to my service. If I’m understanding it right, anyone with my domain would only see cloudflare ip instead of my own. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’m still learning this stuff as well.
Prior to this, I was using tailscale which worked fine but I’d have to connect via tailscale everytime and some instances, it wouldn’t connect properly at all.

With a 10 series cards, dx12 performance will be terrible. Nvidia already has issues with dx12 on newer cards but Pascal is beyond worse. You’ll have to enable dx11 on games that support it.
I decided on installing debloated windows for my 1070ti media machine. Plugs into a 4k tv and runs modern games well enough at 1440p on medium.
This is my experience and your mileage may vary. I still use linux (cachyOS) on my main machine with a 3070ti but Nobara or Bazzite are also good as others have mentioned.
I typically use concept art from my favorite media be it games, movies or shows
My biggest regret was swapping out my old S9 for a free* “upgrade”. Miss that phone everyday.
Carry a dual USB A/USB C drive. You then flash distros from your phone. Distros on the fly!
I just use a single Bottle’s bottle to install a bunch of off-Steam games. Contains many older windows dependencies; you have to install them yourself but they are found within the bottle’s settings.
I remember trying to get Sims 3 working for my partner, it had all sorts of missing textures, kept crashing and had poor performance. Turns out you need a 4gb patch?? made from the community? Decided to toss it in my bottle and it works flawlessly. Have not tried dos games but may be worth a shot.
Look at all these scrobbles!
I thought nvapi was enabled by default on newer protons for a majority of games. It’s just meant for nvidia features like dlss and reflex right, or am I confused on what it actually does? I don’t have the env var in my launch options but I still have access to all nvidia bells and whistles.
Main monitor does support HDR but I never have it enabled. I’ll give this a shot when I get the chance
Yeah, the black screen after logjn happens when both monitors are plugged in I’ve noticed. If I unplug the second monitor I can get into a wayland session fine but the moment I plug the second monitor in, the refresh rate tanks if the DE doesn’t freeze first.
I’ll try your suggestion and update the results after work.
Updated post: Both monitors are connected to the GPU
Waiting for explicit sync support from nvidia but even then, I doubt I’ll switch until I can enable tearing. I’m sensitive to input latency and playing on wayland feels like my aim is floating
This was happening to me on X11 when Plasma 6 released. It got fixed on the next patch.
Double check your library. I kept getting errors but they did redeem
