Xbox pro had 4 metal levers on the back that are mapped to the bumpers by default.
Probably I don’t need them 😅

Boo, it looks like none of them so far have the back levers that the pro controller has. Sadly I really like those.
Will have to think how much I want gyro
Do they have an Xbox pro like controller with gyro? I’ve been waiting for Xbox to get off their ass
Love moonlight, glad to see its still active. I use it almost everyday
They dev also live codes on stream sometimes
Fwiw I specially was referring to the Xbox controller like handles built in. I find holding the deck for a long time to be a little uncomfortable.
I really want an upgraded deck, hardware wise, but I am happy to look for a case first.
That form factor has me interested. Wonder if I can get something like that for the deck
What keyboard? There is a small chance you can rip out the chip and replace it with a teensy running qmk. That will allow you to get it to work and be able to config it in Linux.
Not sure if it’s more or less work that RE’ing the communication, but it will require soldering
That is a dangerous road.
Does the GPU not have a scheduler today?
Probably doesn’t. Might need to use the router to get the whole network on th vpn
When I did this I set up a VPN on my network and forced anyone that wanted to use it to get on my network.
If you have a keyboard running qmk or something you may be able to just write a macro for that. I’m not super familiar with it though
This looks promising https://www.baeldung.com/linux/mouse-events-input-event-interface
You’d have to write some service that runs in the background monitoring for the hotkey that starts the macro.
I’d probably do it in python or another real language other than bash at that point
Fwiw jellyfin apps don’t even allow you to use a self signed cert.
Haven’t used it in years but yes it’s the open source option.
If they really need Office they can use the web version on Linux.
That seems bullshit.
Take a look at meshtastic, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meshtastic
Not exactly what you are talking about but it’s a local tech solution for communication
I don’t think federation saves us. If the server owners are in the states they still have to comply. I don’t know for certain, but I think if there are us citizens using it, some laws might compel non us based servers as well.
The only way around it that I can think of is tor. That doesn’t make it legal it would just be harder to stop.
All of this is assuming the US justice department would even care enough though.
A non-US person that causes a US person to violate US sanctions or engage in conduct that evades US sanctions may itself become subject to US sanctions.
I don’t know the text of the sanctions, but lemmy.world could be under US jurisdiction if they allow me to violate sanctions.
Seems pretty dumb to me that the US has been allowed to assert itself this much.
White balance is hard, probably Google made a different decision or something as simple as something (another person) blocking some light on one pic vs another.
I bet if op white balances both to the same they will look more similar.
