Oh, so if it’s going to be down voted anyway, then a lot of down votes feels good? Guess that’s more validating than a middling response

I guess getting people to rage can feel validating, knowing that I’ve made someone rage quit a game feels satisfying for sure.
I don’t personally feel that way about sites like Lemmy/Reddit/Social-media in general where things are more discussion and social-interaction based though. I guess for my kind of discourse goals, if I’ve made someone angry rather than laugh or understand my perspective, I’ve done a bad job.
Genuinely curious, does that mean that, for you, getting downvoted gives you dopamine/a sense of accomplishment?
Your above comment is in the negative when I’m making this comment. Does that feel good? Again, genuinely curious, hard to put a non-judgemental tone in writing.
I can’t relate to that feeling, upvotes and downvotes to me show how much a community agrees or disagrees with what I’ve said. Either what I said isn’t right for the community I posted it in or maybe just a generally unpopular opinion if I’m getting downvotes. Might make me reflect but usually no big deal, I’m mostly here for the discussions, memes and current events. Outside of trolling I don’t really see how getting downvoted might be seen as a good thing by a poster.
Feel like this was obvious but it’s good to have some actual data
It’s a district of Tokyo with a famous, very touristy temple, Sensoji. Asakusa station is also pretty popular on its own I think
My weeb ass brain read that as Asakusa and was baffled by the description and image
“Saving money by” vs “making money by”
Iirc, Android is based on Linux, so not too far fetched
I feel like they’ve had this for a while but maybe the specific situation is different. I might also be getting confused with Tapas.
Years ago I was reading “Extreme Dog Owner” while it was being released and was blocked out of latest episodes. So when the artist stopped the series it took a while before I realized the last few episodes would never get unlocked for me. Sounds like the same situation? Minus the huge piracy warnings.
Luckily I had a friend who bought it already then just read on their device.
I used to sail the seas like freakin Luffy, but Netflix and Steam (plus becoming a wage earning adult) got me on the straight and narrow for a good long while. Then when all the different services started to compete I started dipping my toes in the water again with some sense of guilt. But after various struggles getting Netflix running in different locations I frequent and my parents not being able to use my account anymore, I have no shame flying the Jolly Roger.
That’s what I thought, but when I search for Onenote alternatives it’s always at or near the top of every list.
No, first time hearing about it. Every source I looked at talks about Zim or Joplin, but Xournal looks good! So far between this and Rnote I’ve got good contenders for my note-taking app.
The handwriting here looks absolutely amazing! Just can’t see if this is a cross device thing from the site, don’t see a lot of documentation.
So far this one looks the most like what I’m familiar with, so probably will try it first! The save format not being stable might be a deal breaker for now though as like I said, I move between devices a lot.
My deleted message was me accidentally replying to the wrong post.
This looks amazing for handwriting! I'll look into it more. From what I see so far though, I can't tell if this will sync notes between devices
Replied to the wrong post… So far this one looks the most like what I’m familiar with, so probably will try it first! The save format not being stable might be a deal breaker for now though as like I said, I move between devices a lot.
“WE’RE WE!” -Redundant, but yes.
“HERE FUCK” -Like, right now?
“WE’RE SHIT” -Well now I’m not sure I wanna participate in that last bit.
“QUEER UP!” -Is… Is that a threat?
