It is how it should work though. Outlook could absolutely make a ‘log in with Gmail’ button. And the fediverse UX should be seamless to compete not this fragmented mess it is currently.
I’m not tho. Wish someone would just bridge everything into one platform seamlessly and the zealots could fight it out in the background.
The lack of account portability means activitypub is unsuitable for both bsky and just in general.
It’s easy enough to set up. But fragments the posts. We need native bridging so one post on one platform is auto posted to your account on the others.

Does it really matter that much? You still control your profiles on each actual site it’s just an aggregator.

Bsky is more twitter like and less confusing than mastodon.
Bsky is federated too.
Just bridge them all together. Threads and nostr too. Then everyone can use what they want.
