On the other hand, way too often people are absolutely vile here and nobody sticks up for themselves or for others. Really a shame that r-word-it bullshit behavior is often times totally accepted and approved and even rewarded here.
I know I can Kagi or duckduckgo it or whatever you people are using these days, but what is PixelFed and what’s it an alternative to? News aggregators aside, I don’t social media so I’m not sure if it’s a tiktok or instagram or whatsapp or faceplace.
Does the Steam Deck count as Linux Gaming? I assume it does, but honestly in the year 2024 and on niche forums I never know.
If it does count, then I bet my gaming percent is nearly as high. I prefer the larger screen on my laptop and some games that I play don’t run (or don’t run as well) on the Deck, but otherwise everything else about the Steam Deck makes it the superior experience.
I recently joined WTF and based on the list of the instances this place is federated with, my assumption is that’s the basis for the WTF name. So, maybe something like this could be useful for choosing an instance that’s not 1/2 filled with bat shit insane posts by default rather than requiring significant and immediate curation (i.e. blocking stupid shit like hexbear and ml).
I’m halfway assuming I’ll get down votes and angry responses for this, and I didn’t read the article (yet), but honestly the title is inaccurate. It’s simply not true that “nobody wants it”. You’d have to be willfully ignorant or living on Mars to think that.
