Since then, Citron has focused more on closing its community, requiring users to prove they have a modded Switch to unlock certain features.
Because whoever curated this list doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I got as far as the web browsers and I immediately closed it.
Deluge always seems so underrepresented, but as far as I know it’s never had a version compromised with malware like some of the other popular clients. It also performs great when you are seeding over 1000 torrents as long as you upgrade to version two.
Apparently I already have that setting turned off so I’m not sure what the issue is. I’ve been having issues with the overlays like “find and replace” and “sort range” not appearing. It just randomly broke recently with no apparent change to plug-ins so I’m not sure what’s up. I haven’t bothered disabling plug-ins one at a time to see if one broke it.
I don’t know if it’s related, but I noticed very recently Google sheets quit working correctly on Firefox.
You also need to fully encrypt the traffic in your bit torrent client. You will get fewer peers, but it’s much safer
I’ve got one more to add to your list, and I hate it, but it’s worth mentioning: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_notation
It’s when the data type is in the name of the variable.
Before looking at VPNs, you should be encrypting your torrent traffic in the client
Note:* Remember that the encryption torrent option only encrypts your inbound and outbound torrent traffic. Although it will not be readable, your traffic can still be intercepted and tagged as torrent traffic. If you want to increase your privacy, you’ll need to encrypt the entire layer 3 traffic (at the IP level), so it is recommended to set Deluge with VPN. To hide traffic at layer 7 (application layer), use a torrent Proxy. And finally, to hide, encrypt, and speed up your torrents, use a Seedbox.*
To be fair, the overwhelming majority of people regardless of age don’t know what LaTeX or markdown are. Not the best examples. I’m a millennial with a 4 year STEM degree and I maybe used LaTeX once because it was required, and before Discord became a thing, I’d never heard of markdown. Most people who use Discord probably don’t even know it supports markdown.
sparking concerns on Wall Street that the services will never be as profitable as cable once was
Obligatory fuck Wall Street
Funny. I watched this shortly after it came out a few weeks ago, but it was really late and I was falling asleep so I didn’t really digest it. I added it to my watch later on YouTube, and I just haven’t commit the time to watch it again. I’m going to take this as a sign lol
This is out of date and Deluge is S tier.
It was rewritten and 2.0 came out in 2022 to address the slowdown issues when seeding a thousand plus torrents
Nobody has mentioned it yet, but https://fedi-search.com/ already exists
It’s almost like you can just set the dehumidifier to a certain humidity level and fan speed and then never touch the settings again. That’s what I did with my humidifier. It’s as dumb as a box of rocks, but it quits working during the summer when the humidity goes up and then turns back on the rest of the year with zero interaction besides adding more water
