You have more albums than I have individual files, I don’t even know where I would find so much to download.

Lemmy is probably not complying with UK law already. But if hosted outside the UK you can just ignore them.
Some instances have blocked the UK but you can also just ignore it because wtf are they going to do
Better would be to reject sites like reddit. Make them suffer instead.
I pay for mine in cash, they don’t even know my name.
I recently found out that with Termux you can use rsync between Linux and Android devices.
And the Linux foundation will just sit by letting it happen? Or Valve for that matter, they appear to have anticipated this risk over a decade ago.
It was only £15 though, all apps I installed on it beyond the default ones are through f-droid.
Hopefully both companies lose a load in legal fees and we get better stuff
I just don’t buy android anymore. It sucks. Apple you always sucked too. Annoyingly society kinda requires me to have a phone so I will just get what ever someone else is throwing away or is very cheap second hand.
Reject their devices is the only real choice you can make. Don’t give them money.
But if it doesn’t run Linux I am not going to buy it

The UK government can shove it up their fucking arse.
Sincerely, A UK citizen.

And then they make it illegal to protect the terrorists
Hmm, more than I expected actually. None in my town but one in a nearby town and the nearest city.
Is there a limit to how far can you communicate through multiple nodes? Also is there anything special for setting up a repeater compared to just communicating on the network?
Though i don’t know anyone else that would be likely to use something like this sadly.
SMS style communication?
I have not used either of these things. I use my Linux desktop to buy stuff, phone UX is not very good when trying to search products and reviews.
And I can’t even accept a gift voucher due to anti-bribery rules? Fuck off.
