Cool. Doesn’t change the fact that for a regular joe, “sign up” is what they want to click and then share a link or follow some guy. Not do research on what platform to join, what instance, what’s an instance, what happens if you join a wrong one. The fediverse is a gimmick that most people don’t need.
What is instance? There are two buttons - sign up for mastodon or choose another instance, I just want to register etc etc.
People dont care for decentralization, they want to sign up and share a link.
Except for the fact that most people dont like jumping through multiple hoops to register an account / need to do research beforehand to do it.
It’s a free world and I can do whatever I want to do. Including when to post a comment and when not to post one.
Real life isn’t a discussion with arguments for and against. The sooner you learn that this thread, and any similar to it are completely insignificant, and that your complaints and “arguments” aren’t reaching anyone, the better off you’ll be.
“safely” as in are too small for the regulatory bodies to care. Takes one report though.
What do you think this is? It’s a random post, not a debate. I’m not here to argue a point. No amount of “discussion” will reach them
Or else what happens? The reality is nobody cares.
Anyone who knows how software companies work knows the pattern. One dude wants to do something and pushes hard for it and things get done. Then they leave the company / get promoted / move to a different part of the company and there is no more will to do said thing. The people in the company have forgotten about linux support 200 times already, and saying something 10 years ago won’t change that. Make linux be something regular gamers want to run, get a double digit adoption rate, maybe they’ll revisit it
So what you are saying is “no, linux doesn’t let you play the games you want to play, especially the extremely popular ones”.
So now you are telling a user to make 3 or 4 accounts at once
First, China censorship. Shit like cannot type “free Taiwan” in chat. Second, every two lost matches in quickplay (PvP) you have a chance of the game putting you against a bot team, giving you a “free win”. In reality it is a shitty slog that you need to basically wait through. You cannot leave the match or you will get a leaver’s penalty. Of course nowhere is it stated that the enemy team are bots. They have cookie cutter names, when you check profiles after the match it says they all are “restricted”. When you spectate them, you can see how unnatural / bottish their aiming and movement is. You get two bots put on your team and 6 bots against you. In a supposedly PvP gamemode with no opt-out.
I mean, most devs wouldn’t ban people playing on linux to begin with? Sure, they fixed their bullshit but I wouldn’t call this praiseworthy, especially with the other shady things the game is pulling and with them being silent on it
I don’t even know where it is
You forgot the part where two angel dudes visited him, the city mob was extra horny for them so they asked to get some, so he offered the town to rape his daughters. Still, the mob was so horny for the angels, they refused. So either the daughters had a bag-worthy face, even for the standards of “back then”, or the angels were so insanely hot, the mob couldn’t help themselves.
Probably that people have jobs, families and lives. Otherwise, why haven’t you already started a nonprofit that does that and donates to them?
