We were a couple right away so no existing friendship beforehand but within the relationship, that’s kinda how it works yeah!
That’s the gist of the success of my marriage. Even before we met, we both had reached a point of maturity where we were confident in ourselves as single people, and then from that solid base you can build the relationship in a healthy way. We both try to be the best to our partner, while being ultimately independent. These over-jealous people are using their relationship as a crutch for life so they’re terrified of it going wrong. Either that or they’re guilty themselves and projecting.
None of these ever worked on me. I see Reddit started doing it too btw.
Most of the stories are about how the laws don’t work and how to circumvent them, yes.
That very much depends on whether they’re a Parisian or not. Though even if they’re Parisian it’s still 50/50.
That photo looks like we need to congratulate them on getting pregnant.
I’m impressed by the cut off letters in the title matching.
The t-shirt-printed-on-at-t-shirt really elevates it to the next level tbh.
Pierogi?
Does it actually replace notion? From reading the page it sounds more like just collaborative docs a-la gdocs rather than a collaborative database, right? With notion I can use or build templates, have databases with relationships to each other, etc. Can it do that kind of stuff too? Notion does fail me regularly due to the business model, I basically never need any paid functions until I start inviting collaborators and then you quickly hit paywalls. I’d love to replace it with something open source, my use case is small to medium scale preproduction/project management for short films, commercials etc.
I also see this is self hosted, never did that before and not sure what it entails but I’m willing to learn!
First time I hear about this, absolutely wild story.
Canal has always been a terrible company from as far as I can remember. They had the best programs sure but their ultra-capitalist methods, the fact they were always involved with whatever scandal/corporate abuse and at the time the only channel you had to pay for always turned me off. Especially since France had great public TV and other private channels available for free.

I’m curious, do we know why the French seem to be all over these debrid services?
As someone with 0 knowledge of Linux (and very little of programming/command lines in general), this thread reads funny AF.
Sounds like you have all the qualifications, welcome aboard!
I think if they can do it without incurring copyright lawsuits, then yeah it’s probably a good marketing move.
Would this work at a professional level? I haven’t tried Gimp either in a long time these days, but I think it hasn’t gotten much better? I think most of everything else I’ve “de-adobe’d” and either use FOSS or other proprietary software like DaVinci Resolve or Bitwig with reasonable purchase options, which I could all use on Linux but I don’t think I can really leave LR+PS as they’re so core to my daily work.
Bingo, this is just a way of raising taxes on the poor without “raising taxes”.
