systemd is easy to work with, other init systems introduce kinks, I rather break philosophy than deal with that shit
American individualism is when you believe everyone is as bad as you or worse
Self-fulfilling prophecy when they never want to cooperate in fear of being ripped off
Just FYI, your question was reposted https://lemmy.world/post/31875892
It’s out and I was in the playtests
The playtests weren’t horrible, they were very fun with friends, but the issue was the networking, very laggy, hope it’ll be fixed
Them accepting Linux support is great, I feared that it might not work when the playtests introduced EAC
I had some crashes, but they seemed like a fault of the playtest itself, my friend also experienced some, told him that it fixed it for me when I logged out and logged back in (it was a restart for him)
I hope they continue like this
You’ll never get UBI beyond the bare minimums with companies paying politicians, which is especially true in USA
Assuming it passes, austerity measures would kill it in the future anyway, and if it requires companies to be taxed more to accomplish it they may instead move their HQ to Britain, Singapore or Japan where the government still heavily favours the companies
Really good actually, works great
Hayase or Migu (Migu needs independent contributors currently)
This tor link seems way more reliable, thanks
Thank you for your service
Can you not make a shell script that auto builds and deploys? It was really simple for me
oh man idk where to begin tbh
Maybe deleting the dotfiles (holds configuration data) would help return the DE to a default state?
I probably would just reinstall, though. I’m not confident enough to mess around with dotfiles
can you open a terminal or is it just that the dock is gone? Search “Extension” in search and disable every extension.
Also, tell us what is off from an ordinary install (for example, you can’t open apps or something)
Normalising helping the instances out I guess, Lemmy acts more like a group/commune and it thrives when people step up to do more than their peers at their own expense to benefit everyone
Isn’t the entirety of Lemmy super opinionated?
Is it electron? I can’t seem to find it outside of Mac, iOS and a test for Android
I don’t think any exist
Oh wow a post from Mastodon, uh, yeah, has the same function and end goal though
“SteamOS has released!”
“Yay!”
“It’s just Nobara with official support”
“Oh.”
In turkey, the government stores data words than the company. I can be doxxed just by giving you hints of which city I live in. It’s bad
