

Guess it depends on the games. I have no games in my collection that won’t run on Linux, either natively or via Proton. The only games I’m aware of where there are massive issues are ones incorporating certain forms of anti-cheat software.

I think they have a place, but personally speaking, I feel they stifle tinkering. So they’re a “no” for me.
I ended up choosing Plasma Mobile. Keep meaning to try Phosh. I was initially more drawn to Plasma Mobile as I use KDE on my laptop & desktop.
A lot of the newer AMD models have excellent battery life thanks to the combined efforts of Vavle & AMD on the Steam Deck.
My unbiased opinion is that for what it sets out to achieve (no hastle Arch Linux setup) there are better options. EndeavourOS is worth looking at. I’ll leave it to others to list the drawbacks of Manjaro’s package triaging approach. I’m still having my morning coffee in bed, so I’m typing this with one hand.
Automatic high beams are a new hell. I thought people were just retarded until I hired a newer car recently. Then I realised what everyone else was doing… trusting faulty technology, and possibly being lazy in the process.
