The part about Reddit communities being built now that contain only Ai questions, Ai answers, and links to products is what I figured Spez wanted when he ipo’d. And with Ai writing convincing text, it’s so easy!

Wow, it’s really sad hearing her daughter talk about how her mom was her best friend, and they talked every day, got mysteriously ill and died, and her dad was like, “now make pretend your mom killed herself.” He must not have know his wife or daughter very well.
Could be Seth Rogan, almost looks like Keira Knightly, but what is that other dude doing to her?!
I always wondered this, so I’m glad you made a topic about it. I noticed an invidious link in a post I made was broken, and I started thinking that the broken link thing might be a problem going forward, especially for the longevity of a post’s life. I do hate YouTube and I’m happy to hear that me sharing a YouTube link is usually not giving them website traffic or user info because of the actions of other lemmys. Thanks for this post!
I noticed Animix Player doesn’t have “no ads” servers anymore and even when it opens the ads it doesn’t play. 😭
They show up italicized for me, iOS Thunder app
Me too.
I believe .ml was the first lemmy instance - the one made by the developers.
Wrong. They federated with them then had a big discussion on if they should defederate (you can probably still find it in meta). It’s why I left - I prefer to make my own defederation decisions (and I like Hexbear, and Piracy too).
Source: I was there.
Midwest.social is left and federates with most everyone.
So those are two separate categories - daily and monthly? I would assume the daily would be counted with the monthly, and that the daily would be a lower number.
Praying that our mothership would just blow up already.
Do you do this through the webpage or through an app?
Yeah, and let me tell you… Facebook’s motion does nothin for me, as big as it is…
I feel like I want to contribute, I just haven’t found the right community yet…
Hmm… could this be why I like it better?
Edit: Also, what is active users? I’m “active” on Facebook about once a month, yet on lemmy at least an hour a day. One is more active than the other depending on the threshold.
Nazis can’t really get them in trouble. CSAM can, and if it gets through one instance, all instances get it, and that’s a bad face for the Fediverse.
What up, I’m a Kbin user (just not on that account rn)
