Dudes got two dicks!
Sounds like fun. I joined.
I’ve never tried this, but I bet they’ve already thought of it and found a way to prevent it.
This comment turns me off of the entire concept.
It’s like announcing you’ve created a machine that can repurpose garbage and reduce waste going to the landfills, but it just spreads random garbage all over the neighborhood with the intent that the rest of us can dig through it and pull out anything that might be useful and discard the rest.
It just creates much more work for everyone else with minimal positive results.
Uh oh. Someone doesn’t understand Lemmy’s hatred of AI!
Except for silly pictures and terrible mistakes. Keep sharing those.
You’ll get used to it. 😂
I don’t usually pay much attention to what community the post is from. I do have a Switch as well, but usually what I’m playing this weekend is on the Xbox.
Honestly, I didn’t even know Blue Prince wasn’t on Switch yet. 🤷🏻♂️
I downloaded Blue Prince yesterday and took a few strolls through the mansion.
I have no idea what’s going on, but I’m looking forward to unlocking more secrets!
Oh shit! And I just realized it’s Father’s Day this weekend, so nobody’s allowed to kick me off the Xbox!
Yes and no. They changed the leveling system a bit. I forget exactly how it used to work, but you still level up skills and go to sleep after getting x skill increases, but they adjusted it so you don’t have to min max your build from the beginning to avoid being underpowered.
Enemies still scale with your level, but overall the game feels easier than before. Not sure if that’s because I’ve already played through it a few times, or because of the adjustments to leveling and scaling.
Started Oblivion Remastered last weekend. Jumping right back into what is my third playthrough over the last twenty years, and power leveling skills so I can start breaking the game with potions and enchantments!
Not pointy enough.
In a nutshell: We’re going to charge as much as you fucks are willing to pay.
Finally tried Balatro!
I needed an Internet free game to play on my flight this week.
If you’re A fan of roguelike deck builders. You should definitely give it a shot!
So far so good. My biggest complaint is how often it crashes, but good news for everyone else, it seems to be only happening to people playing on the first edition of the XBox Series X (lucky me!). It seems to happen in sections. I had to go through one major dialogue, about 5 times because of would crash in the middle of it, but then I might play for another hour before it happens again.
I’ve always been a big fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, and it fits right in with those, but it’s different enough that I’m still learning how the systems work.
I guess the game is a lot smaller than it looks, my son’s already finished the main story, and half of the “world map” doesn’t exist in the game, so I’m wondering if we’ll see those parts in DLC or something. Still, kind of shady to show us this big map and not actually have anything behind it.
I’m excited to jump back into Avowed. Last weekend I made it to the second map, and I have a lot of exploring to do there!
It took me a moment, but I like it!
From what I’ve seen, it seems like that specific console has a problem with ray tracing, and isn’t anything the game itself could fix. I’ll have to pay around with some settings and see if that helps keep it going for longer stretches of time at least.
So far so good, only got a few hours in, and I was VERY frustrated with the game crashing. I’ve heard other people with the Launch version of the XBox Series X are having similar issues. I was averaging a crash every 30 min or so. Thanks to autosave, I rarely lost much progress, and the game boots quickly, so it wasn’t too much down time, but it’s annoying as hell.
It’s close enough to Skyrim, that I felt like I knew exactly what to do, but it’s different enough, that most of the time, I don’t actually know what to do. I’m still learning the differences between the leveling and equipment systems and which enemies need to be avoided.
Just this morning: “oh, there’s a skeleton outside of town, I’ll just pick him off with my bow.” 60 seconds later: Kai is dead, there’s a rain of arrows falling on me, and the skelemans heal faster than I can kill them. Who knew?
Super Mario Wonder was SO MUCH FUN!
Those singing piranhas really set the mood for the whole game. There are some more challenging parts, but many of them are hidden or avoidable, so anyone not looking for a challenge, can continue in and keep advancing.
Reminds me of that Aunt who had a different husband every Thanksgiving.
