It isn’t about looking “tough” or “cool”. It is about not sticking out like a sore thumb.
Most cars in the US are civics, mid size trucks, and family vehicles.
That thing looks like it came out of a gumball machine.

I like to read people’s comments. But I will never judge them based on them. 1 - I don’t want to read through the threads to get the context to make sure I actually understand what they are saying and 2 - we all have our funny niche. Just cause you like some kinky/weirdly stuff doesn’t make my kinky/weirdly stuff any better.
Give people a little slack.

Oh - are you one of THOSE people?

First and second wave are decent.
Third wave is where things went off the rails.

And what is really gross is that they will place it at the level of social/corporate discourse. Continuing the facade that they are a “publisher” and not town square.
Meaning there will be no legal option to prevent groups like meta/FB and Twitter from throttling down real social issues. While turning the volume up on “state approved rebellion”.

They still talk and connect if you want them to or not. The “permissions” is mostly for the apps to talk back and forth. It is still usable by anyone who knows how.

They still access and provide a route through your wifi.

SAME. Seeing posts from a week later it because a certain friend is shadow banned just ruined the whole experience.

First trillion?

It isn’t just the company leader. It is the brigade of product managers, pricing accountants and more that are involved in these types of corporate consensus decisions.
There is a fleet of people who see their bonuses, commissions, and rev share increasing.
Greed is contagious.

Brother… You speak the truth…

I abandoned many brands many years ago. They provide me nothing of value so I don’t give them my money.

Weirdly enough, business would advance or develope if there wasn’t something to be gained. Or funded, and you need an excess of liquid cash to fund new things.
It is a weird cycle, and I agree not good. It is just weird how intertwined it all is.

Looks like Dr Seuss has a green thumb

Serious questions for people not looking to play political whack-a-mole and slapping people around online.
I haven’t taken the time to research - but is the “solar overtaking nuclear” because of the dramatic increase in solar farms? Or primarily from the increase of tech? I imagine an mix of both, but the quantity increase seems to be significant.
Are nuclear plants as efficient as they can be? Or are most of plants decades old with problems from aging?
Can the rise of solar be more person to person investment? Or is it’s increase mostly from huge cap ex from people wanting to own and charge for the energy? Nuke is obviously a huge expense begining to end.
