I’ve heard good things about Hunie Pop. So far it’s… uncomfortably sexist. But I guess what do you expect. I’ll give it a shot.

Doesn’t xmpp require a constant connection?
Looking at and/or incorporating Navidrome might be helpful.
I mean… it’s not. One problem solves itself over time if not touched, the other is permanent and prevents us from leaving the planet.
And how is that any different from not having a password manager?
Yes, if someone hijacks a domain they can get credentials intended for that domain. A password manager doesn’t make a huge difference here, because why would they make the site look any different than normal?
Bitwarden will only autofill if the domain matches.
Wait, what? How does autofill get fooled?
Not a silver bullet. This is a deep rabbit hole.
It probably won’t save money in the first year. The transition will likely offset any gains.
It likely will save money every year after that. For everyone. More users means more interest means a smoother experience for everyone, generally.
At least for the first year.
Are you a lawyer? What law are you citing?
“the First Amendment protects the right to gather information about what public officials do on public property.” Smith v. City of Cumming, 212 F. 3d 1332, 1333 (11th Cir. 2000).
Does her word override the first amendment?
There aren’t many exceptions, and what’s happening on a public street generally isn’t one of them.
I think going through Samsung (or even Google/Apple) is relatively safe particularly for a short term solution. Maybe that’ll change in a couple years, but it’s fine for now.
Can’t you back it up, wipe it, and restore it after you’re safe?
Rust is straight up better than C. It’s safer and less prone to errors.
It’s not feasible to convert the entire Linux codebase at once. So your options are to either have a mixed codebase, or stick with effectively Cobol into 2020.
I’m on Boost, but should probably look at Voyager.
I get that you’re using AI directly related to your point, but it’s still a lot of shitty AI spam.
Use it for your own research, but don’t foist that on us.
The other difference is that promoting more and more obscure, useless shit ruins your credibility for when you’re trying to get them to Lemmy or Signal or Mastodon.
Signal is an absolutely fine product and doesn’t need to be decentralized right now.
