Yeah, I sure as shit wouldn’t use the internet if it wasn’t anonymous, seems like a weird thing to want when people are more concerned for their privacy than ever before.

It’s great that there’s a good alternative but I’m not sure I’d ever use it, since I like the modpacks that MC has on offer, and I haven’t spent a dime on MC since buying it 13 or 14 years ago anyway.

I tried it a while ago, but only on anime, which it seems to work pretty well on.

Why would people hate on them for adding a commonly requested feature?

I’ll never understand why certain people don’t like this message. I use Discord every day, and have been for years, but I still hate it. Other than the fact they collect so much data and does god knows what with it, I despise the fact that SO many communities rely on it for things like support, instead of using publicly accessible websites and forums. I don’t want to go through my list of servers to find one to leave so I can join yours just to find the answer to a simple question, or to be involved in the decision making process.

I think the Japanese have the right idea
