They’re more first person slashers than action RPGs, but have you considered the Vermintide games? 4 player coop with 4 distinct “classes”, magic restricted to one class, half hour to 45 minute missions, and there might be a dragon somewhere? They’re usually very cheap, but they’re low on classical RPG progression, so might not be a complete fit.

I am basically an anarchist in my political views, or a socialist
You’re not being shit on for being the wrong kind of leftist, you’re being shit on for thinking vaguely vibing with progressive politics makes you a leftist. You are a capitalist defending copyright from a capitalist perspective.

That specifically might not on its own, but there are also a lot of other factors that definitely mean responsible people don’t drive. Even local LLMs map neatly onto EVs - they’re not as polluting day to day, but still require plenty of environmental damage to be built.

Sounds like you need to explain the difference between a serious tool and a serious looking tool. They can frump about it being weird but it is the foss option.
Congrats, that’s almost exactly how I felt when I switched a year or two ago. I did a bit of distro hopping after a few weeks, and quickly resettled on Bazzite, but it was a universal experience of stuff just working better without any bullshit I didn’t add myself.

There are 3 answers and only 3 answers:
Debtors will wait as long as they think it will take to get their investment back, and AI companies can’t currently pay any of those debts, so their investors will keep waiting until they can. Similarly, RAM companies have almost complete control of supply while demand is through the roof - they’re making money hand over fist, there’s no incentive for them to expand when that will only impact their profits at the moment.
Bubbles last so long because the mechanisms of capitalism encourage making them last so long. The bigger the bubble, the more you risk losing in the pop, the more incentive there is to keep growing it. The world already has 10 times more debt in circulation than it does money, adding more doesn’t bother capitalists.
Why not? Bubbles can last decades and peak years before they collapse, and this bubble is still growing. It is certain it will eventually collapse, but I wouldn’t be so confident trying to put a date on it.

Probably not never - CXMT are trying to aggressively expand to fill the market now the major players have left, but it will still be a few years before prices really come down as a result.

The Oracle™ Engine transcends mere prediction. It is a reality-modeling tool that analyzes quantum probability streams to compute and enforce a singular, optimal future timeline.
NGL I’m pretty sure they got an AI to write it and also told the AI it’s the Bene Gesserit.

Mint or Fedora if you’re starting out. Bazzite if you want a more gaming focused version of Fedora. CachyOS if you want something more cutting edge.
Ubuntu is generally fine but functions at the whims of Canonical, who are both Linux weirdos and corporate weirdos, which leads to some interesting decisions.

If your justification is “it’s not a crime” you’re well aware it should be.

Too many people here pretend to be more respectful and empathetic than average, but will happily dogpile to get a piece of a person given the right momentum.
“People here pretend to be nice, but get angry when I try to secretly push them out of the conversation”
Shut up, idiot.

Kinda sounds like education isn’t actually an option then, doesn’t it? It’s nice you have a fantasy of a perfect world, but it doesn’t exist, so your actual real world choices are to either lose the murder machines or smile for the camera.

Was it CPU use/overheating? Steam will use all available resources doing the shader compilation, so when I start steam it jumps to around 100% use for a few minutes while compiling the shaders - I can use other programs in that time, but they’re noticeably more laggy.

Well it’s been a century, how do you think the educations going?

Yeah you shouldn’t have guns either, you don’t even use them for what you’re meant to.
Cars might not be weapons, but mistakes made or malfunctions that happen while controlling them can cause as much if not far more damage than many weapons, even before including distractions like phones. The options are surveillance or getting rid of cars.

I know of at least 1 study on human behaviour, where an image of an eye was added to a bathroom and increased the number of people who washed their hands after using the facilities, that suggests people do in fact need the “threat” of feeling they’re being watched to behave responsibly.
Ultimately, when you’re in control of something with the potential destructiveness of a car, you do need to be monitored for everyone’s safety. The only way to have a society without that level of monitoring is to have one without general access to cars.
Most gamers don’t care enough to change, and a lot that are willing are still driven off by the longstanding perception that Linux is difficult to set up and/or use. It’s not, but most Linux users choose to argue that the CLI isn’t complex instead of just pointing out that Mint is easier to set up and use through the GUI than Windows.
