Boilerplate code is where it rocks. The syntax for that API function you use once every 5 years and no way remember, it’s got you covered. It can knock out helper functions like a boss too. Nothing complex, that takes too long to fix, but the text filter and type conversion stuff is quicker than typing them out yourself.

Everyone likes to play up the dancing or the cat videos as not being a threat. Because they’re the candy that gets the kids in the van. The real threat is a foreign country doing what western companies are already doing. And since they can’t defend what tech companies are already doing, they distract with cat video bullshit. In the hopes the public doesn’t get mad enough about being sold as a commodity.
