My relatives dont have a charger at home, they just plug their car into an outlet, and get ~40km range over night. That more than enough for the daily commute.
I agree that subscription fatigue is a huge thing, and I avoid services as a rule of thumb unless there are real reasons for the subscription, ie ongoing usage based costs.
That said, I view $2 a month as a reasonable subscription cost, and if Reddit had charged that I would have happily paid it to keep bacon reader. It’s only the one time payment cost that is very steep ($99).

I mean, thats litterally the point of federated instances. If you don’t like this one, you can find one you like more, or spin up your own and control your own federation without worrying!
I agree that the admins should maintain a list, but this is still really early days of Lemmy.
I know people complain about big phones, but as a 6’5" guy i LOVE my big screens, and i think i’d struggle with a 6.3" screen. I have a 22U i plan to use for another year or two, and would go larger if i could.
