Maybe it can be federated? Each game could have like their own lemmy community as instead of pages on a centralized site.

Yes and I think that is pretty cool!

Did you know a computer only uses power according to the load? Even if you have a 5090 you will probably not reach a 1300w sustained power consumption when gaming. When just seeding torrents I think it will pull something like 100w depending on your setup. But your raspberry pi will use even less but won’t be a world of difference.

Is the raspberry pi as internet computer a thing about saving on electricity or to keep distractions away from the big computer?

It would be cool if torrents were distributed peer to peer instead of being hosted by centralised company.

They should disclose it but no one is going to seriously get recommended to use this until its finished. In the spirit of open-source OP asked if people want to contribute their time. You wouldn’t flame any other foss project this hard for simply being unfinished.

Does anyone else feel like Firefox is running kind of sluggish recently? I’m using Zen browser on Zorin OS. I feel loading times for everything has increased in the last couple of weeks. Element like volume sliders and such aren’t responsive for like 5-10 seconds.

Not sure if it’s my system or not but other apps run fine. I’ve already done optimizations in about:config but I havent tried switching browser, because I don’t want to, I like Zen browser.

Drunk ramble?

Okay I see how that could be really useful! Especially for international communities.

What does it do? Is it like lemmy explorer?
