I never understand the renewal cancellation issue. The company will get the renewal once. If that happens to me I’ll cancel going forward and never work with them again. But if they let me cancel easily I may go back in future.

I know it’s not steam but by god Minecraft Bedrock drives me mad. Everytime I try to play it needs to update. And if you don’t update you can’t play online…
(I know Java exists, but it doesn’t let me easily play with a switch player)
Sometimes i pirate games I’ve bought so I don’t have to deal with this nonsense. Like titanfall.
How was it fixed? By this update?
I need to sync pictures from iPhone to server. What should I use?
Yep. A slow brain drain as all the smart people get jobs elsewhere while the ones who find it harder to move are stuck there.
I use OpenMediaVault to run something similar. It’s a headless Debian distribution with web based config. Takes a bit of work but I like it.
That’s a funny way of saying “all”…
Helpful Feedback is fine. As the OP said there is no need for disparaging feedback.
Have they fixed the graphical glitches in steam menus yet?
Bazzite is quite good as an alternative with steamos like interface.
PFC is in the power supply. The bios doesn’t control it. Only servers may have this control.
Try running some equipment that needs extra load from the UPS. TV? Gaming system? Again could just be an issue with the UPS.
Some systems just need a pure sine wave UPS. Especially high grade server hardware. But test the UPS with other computers, it could just be faulty.
GNOME because it just works better with network shares. Really wanted to use KDE but I use a lot of network shares and it just annoyed me.
In KDE I open a network folder in the file browser, double click a video and VLC can’t see it because it uses a different sharing protocol.
On GNOME it just works seamlessly.
I know I can fix it in command line, but I don’t want to. I tried the KDE fuse plug in but that had other issues.
I’m tech literate and use the command line daily. I enjoy how powerful it is but I also enjoy the ease of point and click on windows.
After a hard day coding at work I much prefer poking around windows than using a command line on Linux.
Random mix and match. I’m all for diversity!
I hope steam can fix big picture mode with nvidia. It’s sooo slow.
I tried Jellyfin but had many issues, then tried Emby and it worked first time. Since then I’ve purchased Emby so no point going back. The OP probably has an Emby license so no point changing to Jellyfin now.
I agree with you. If i had to add my password everytime I’d just add my personal account to sudo group.
Good security works with people, not against them.
Bazzite works better as an appliance/ gaming PC.
But I still enjoy it more than Nobaro.
