10·2 years agoI had a miui phone and they only update their own apps and the phone with ads or unwanted apps. They only gave one Android update after a year and no monthly security updates. Plus their updates break things or make phone slower. They say a lot of things but don’t follow through.
1·2 years agoSearch on Flipkart, there’s a few good laptops there. Don’t know if they are full Linux compatible.

I think you need to do something to make the GPU drivers work. See this reddit thread.
Try running Linux os live usb on it and see if everything works. If you use Linux Mint, i think you need to install kernel 6.2 since it’s still on 5.xx kernel now.
try 1dm app on playstore. it has a browser where you can tap a button and see the videos in the page that can be downoaded.
I have a celeron nuc and i managed to get it to sleep on Linux Mint and not wake up until i hit enter on the keyboard but i forgot how I got it to do that. Then i made it into a media player using LibreElec and it did go into sleep mode. I don’t use it now.
just select only one episode if its a series. after the episode downloads, watch it to see if the quality is good or not. if it’s good, you can select the rest of the files to download. you can do this in transmission, qbittorrent or deluge.
