Have you tried playing it with a live rat that you shake and squeeze?
My computer makes Yoshi noises when usbs connect or disconnect and that has nothing to do with Linux.
It worked for me without any problems. I use basically vanilla ublock settings.
The lack of groups was the deal breaker for me, so after it rolled out to beta, I finally switched back to Firefox as my primary browser.
Last I tried, I don’t think you could reorder or drag/drop groups and selecting multiple tabs doesn’t result in “group tabs” in the context menu, but it is still decent enough.
Same is true for a sphere. For example, if you draw a triangle with 1 vertex at the north pole and the other two on the equator, all the angles are 90 degrees. But if you move, say, the north pole vertex to be closer to the two in the equator, then you’d get a smaller sum.
Use use normal balloons. If you don’t fill them enough though, they’re hard to pop.

I thought he got famous for anti-semetic jokes he made in his late-20’s.

any of the tens (hundreds?) of alternative servers that offer literally exactly the same thing.
Awesome Lemmy Instances shows nearly 500 and its outdated.
Some people pay a lot of attention to what instances people are from. I think I’ve had someone who jumped to negative assumptions about me because of what instance I’m using and I think I might have seen like one person from this instance - I pretty much never see people using the same instance, so its weird imagining someone seeing it enough to have an assumption about the users.
There are some servers that are a bit more tight-knit (hexbear comes to mind).
Only time I have the problem is when people attach large files. While is the same problem with other “IM” methods.
Agreed most others wouldn’t use email as a replacement for casual chat, but its always seemed like an arbitrary choice. So many people waste so much space in emails because they treat them like letters, so the biggest difference seems to be the culture around them rather than the medium itself. If people formatted all text messages as
"Hello Dear Friend,
Here is stuff to waste space.
Here’s what I actually want to say.
More extra stuff.
Sincerely, Walrus"
I doubt we would see that much of a difference between them.
How so? Seems like just a slightly different UI for the same thing to me?
Feel like Matrix or Email would have made more sense as a federated service for communication, but get Signal is a lot more well known.
Gotta convert time to the same units before canceling: you work 1/3
I’m mostly just joking because I hate using phones instead of laptops/desktops and have bad experiences with SD cards in phones over a decade ago. Should have probably included some /j or /s to make that more clear, but /shrug.
I’d actually rather have the option than not and I don’t actually judge people for watching things on their phones.
Last time I used an SD card in a phone (actually used it: not just having one in there) was with a phone that have like 16-32GBs. Given you couldn’t install apps on it, that mean doing annoying file management to just try to get enough space to install something. Granted, if your use case is just bulk storage and the base phone has plenty of space for apps, I imagine its perfectly fine.
