Did you know that rock and roll is actually a plate of spaghetti?
Lol no. I don’t want anyone else to do bad things, just me.
Problem solved, check mate
Thanks friend
I had a rough time finding out whether or not regular docker containers are compatible with podman.
Do you have any good resources you could link regarding that and podman use?
It was if I remember right, just not by the dev
Idk that installing a different OS to install software is better than installing another os to install software. I feel like that would just be keeping up with updates on two or more separate OSs, but with that said, I’ve never used it aside from just goofing around a little trying to get some theming stuff to work, which did not.
To each their own though, would be a great solution for someone that doesn’t want to uninstall their current system because they’ve sunk time into it or other reasons.
They both worked fine for me, but installing almost everything through yay on CachyOS instead of having to deal these on bazzite (link below) was a huge QoL change for me. That and the sheer amount of documentation for arch is just awesome.

To me, this was a mess and was convoluted. It helped me learn a ton, but if you want simple and need more than just gaming on steam, it’s not worth it imo.
Maybe we should retaliate.
No such thing as a Nazi supporter, my friend. That’s just a Nazi.
There has to be a logical next step for the information age. Old school government is not fucking working, and we can all see it.
The fact that there aren’t large scale riots already is astounding.
Install cachy, install yay, learn how to use yay, profit. It’ll handle regular pacman installs too
Someone more educated than I may step in and correct me but that’s what I’ve done and its going pretty well.
Were you installing stuff with pacman or yay?
Yeah, it forced me to figure out why, which was a net positive, but definitely just not feasible in the long run outside of gaming, at least not yet.
My selling point was being able to use the arch documentation.
You can kind of do that with bazzite/fedora, but to a way more limited extent because fedora package installers are disabled.

I loved bazzite, it was my first out of the box success with Linux gaming, but if you plan to do anything outside of gaming installing stuff can get a little difficult. It was invaluable for teaching moments, but I’ve moved on to cachyOS and it has been just as seamless and less difficulty installing things after installing yay
My 2c
I play helldiver’s just fine. Unless they’ve changed something in the last few months
