Heh thanks, but it’s just that I’m printing 2000+sqft of high res pdfs from many gigs of files at a time.

Maybe I should have specified print to PDF.
Say I print something, and it’s going to take 5 minutes, I go and work on an email or something, and the save dialog pops up and what I’m typing for the email starts going into/overwrites the save name. Hate it.
yeah its overkill. any kind of timeline software would work.
the password manager kinda sucks too. credit cards are in a category that you have to delete the name of the site you’re visiting in order to see. sometimes I question why I’m paying for the thing. lastpass was way better 10 years ago.
I wonder if it’s the games we play or our systems. Only one that has ever taken more for me is Spider-Man.
Usually takes like 30 seconds or less on my games.
that’s an interesting idea. would they have to compile individual versions for the testers? will it work after final release and people stop having NDAs and can compare several copies with each other?
It wasn’t just mods using 3rd party apps. Anyone that experienced the switch from old.reddit or that used mobile had to be using 3rd party or only half their brain.
Subs still works in my mind. Subdirectories of all, or subscriptions… whichever way you want to think of it. I never really thought of subs as short for subreddits though, that was just convenient marketing based of those same terms.
You need more ram in your desktop.
There are a few people that are just getting into Unix style operating systems and we all remember and relate. Even if it was 30 years ago.
I believe all only shows the magazines or subs or whatever that have been synced to local. on a large instance, that will be plenty but in a small instance you’ll have to sign up and then everyone in the instance will see that sub in all.
I just reread the post and never mind. that’s not what op is talking about. still I think it’s a n issue that needs addressed.
I think the all feed doesn’t have all the subs, just the ones that have been subscribed to by anyone on the instance. local is a little more intuitive in that it’s just the local hosted subs to the instance.
Fuck and shit are the only classic swear words on there and shit really isn’t these days.
