If not though, there are mods out there to switch it to a standard flat-screen FPS. But I don’t think the experience would be nearly as cool!

I have hers all loaded up with a FOSS reader, f-droid (droid-ify), Nextcloud, Element messenger… The only thing I haven’t put time into is custom launcher stuff - but the native launcher isn’t half bad, if you ignore their attempts to coax you into their cloud subscription crap!

My partner has a ‘Boox’ that runs android, complete with apk side loading its basically an android tablet! Super cool so far - there’s even a model with a color screen!

I slapped the Nextcloud app on there and she has been syncing her books between her phone and the Boox!

Thank you! I’ve been away from my PC for a bit, been meaning to come update this thread. This is the exact setting I changed! Both need to be ticked, & I selected proton experimental. I’m sure if experimental doesn’t run it you can change per-game overrides to get it sorted out - steamDB can be your friend figuring out which version to use!

THANK YOU for this!! I fought with ntfs in a new manjaro install last weekend and just could not friggin figure it out! So excited to see a valve better fix!
