Some chinese phones still have ir blasters
I yearn for the day this xkcd is relevant
I still have an old Pixel 7 Pro lying around, which I had recently used to setup a second SIM. Every time I turned it on it immediately overheated for no fucking reason. Wasn’t even connected to a charger.
Just play via native Steam.
That’s what I was hoping to avoid but I might try it. Maybe the flatpak dependcies being installed will already tell me if I’m missing something
When I installed glibc-eac the standard glibc was removed because they’re conflicting packages
I did install it, but doesn’t make a difference :/ I also did have steam create a new compatdata folder for the game afterwards.
I also noticed all the Steam Linux Runtimes were on my NTFS drive, so I moved them on my home; the game itself is also on an ext4 partition.
this is probably the least helpful de-googling video
I don’t think it was supposed to be particularly helpful. It’s more of him sharing his passion with his audience. Which isn’t going to be interesting if you don’t care about him.
True. First you have to go into Steam settings and tick a box. Then you can play
comick.io ia decent. Has a big collection of Manhwa and Manhua as well
Hm this part of the log doesn’t look like the error. Those messages usually show up after the process has crashed. If there is nothing that looks like it’s gamecrash related to you further above in the log, type sudo dmesg --follow
in a terminal. This display the logs of all device drivers on a kernel level. While that is open, start the game and wait for it to freeze and see if any errors show up.
Also, if you post log messages again please put them in a
codeblock
by typing it like this:
```
codeblock
```
Should be more readable. If the log is rather long just put it into a pastebin or some other text sharing service.
I don’t think we have any of those things Linux, that’s why we’re there. Except file indexing, but I only know of Baloo which is annoying if you’re on KDE. But i can be easily turned off
What kind of an error do you get when the game crashes if you start steam from the terminal?
I wouldn’t recommend Mint if you plan on gaming on it all. It has of lot of older packages from what I’ve heard.
Bazzite and CachyOS are also worth looking into
I personally like the UI a bit more. Other than that I think not much. Haven’t used CoreCtrl much
Iirc Mulvad doesn’t save *any" information since they use a RAM only infrastructure. Yoy can also pay for them with either crypto or by sending them a letter with the money. There’s your pocket dimension
For fucks sake. I just started to move to proton last year…
Red Eclipse, although I’m not sure how large the player base is
Hm give the latest 3.14.x or 3.13.x a try. I think those worked for me
