When I installed glibc-eac the standard glibc was removed because they’re conflicting packages

I did install it, but doesn’t make a difference :/ I also did have steam create a new compatdata folder for the game afterwards.

I also noticed all the Steam Linux Runtimes were on my NTFS drive, so I moved them on my home; the game itself is also on an ext4 partition.

Hm this part of the log doesn’t look like the error. Those messages usually show up after the process has crashed. If there is nothing that looks like it’s gamecrash related to you further above in the log, type sudo dmesg --follow in a terminal. This display the logs of all device drivers on a kernel level. While that is open, start the game and wait for it to freeze and see if any errors show up.

I don’t think we have any of those things Linux, that’s why we’re there. Except file indexing, but I only know of Baloo which is annoying if you’re on KDE. But i can be easily turned off

I wouldn’t recommend Mint if you plan on gaming on it all. It has of lot of older packages from what I’ve heard.
