Fucking finally.
As far as I know, the authentication and activation is done via your 365/microsoft account if you have one.
Airsonic is only for the web. For actually accessing my music I use either substreamer or that new Tempo app on GitHub. Much better experience.
I use lidarr to manage my existing library and use airsonic to listen to it. For me it works great and I can import tracks from my Spotify playlist. But yeah, it’s more of a nice to have, for me personally. I use it mainly to keep things tidy.
Check out Twingate. It’s super easy and with granular controls.
Tmux for life
Do you mean like an Iiframe browser plugin? Sadly, I don’t know of any but have been looking for options also.
I have had the same experience switching from deluge to qbittorrrent. It’s like, another world.
I always highly recommend Twingate.
This is the correct and only answer :)
I also have mailcow behind a dynamic in. I wrote a script that updates my cloud flare dns entries as soon as it detects that the ip changed. https://github.com/tinkermesomething/scripts-stuff/blob/main/cloudflare_DNS_updater.sh
I then use online services to check if they’re likely to get marked as spam
Twingate has been my go to. It’s amazing. Highly recommended.
I asked perplexity.ai to guide me through it all and I both learned as well as getting it all working.
Didn’t sunbird close down business?
Homarr should fit the bill I reckon :)
It’s specifically for the US market I reckon.
Yeah check out the MKHB video about it…. It’s not reassuring that you’re logging with your iCloud credentials into a cloud server that then parses your iMessage to the phone. From a security standpoint, that’s a big no for me as all it takes is the provider getting hacked and then its spoofing galore.
I just snagged a Lenovo thinkcentre m700 for £85 on eBay. It’s got an i5 2.7ghz, 16gb ram and 6usb3 ports. It’s perfect.
Check out awesome self host. There’s a good list and I’m confident you’ll find what you’re looking for :)
