Thank you. We had actually already checked this but had not found Gemini in the settings.
Turns out typing “gem” in the settings search is not enough. Only typing “Gemini” returned a result.

My gf got one of those emails, but she doesnt have the Gemini app installed on her phone. All of the instruction articles I can find only explain how to turn it off if you have the app.
Does not having the app mean that she’s safe from this, or does it mean that she needs to download the app to disable the “feature”?
Does piefed have an android app?
Just made a donation off the back of this. Thank you for posting
SSH is the answer.
Another approach would be to use WSL (windows subsystem for linux) and basically just communicate from one Linus box to another
How do you get around the requirement to run the official app somewhere?
I run a WhatsApp and signal bridge, but not recommend running the official app on a phone
Same. Hasnt let me down. Super thorough, and makes adding/removing anything a breeze
No worries. Thanks for your help! I’ll post here if/when I find a solution
Unlikely to be something wrong with that, tbh. Everything else on that network has internet access. The issue is limited to the laptop
I did, but no response
I changed to a different router and can at least ping that now, but still no internet
So that looks similar to what I have. Wonder why it’s not working
Nope. Destination host is unreachable when pinging

I’m not entirely sure which of the list is the default route is, but absolutely see my WiFi router on the list. Took a picture as recommended by @CameronDev
The output was pretty much the same from this as from netstat -nr
I would share it here, but I can’t access the internet from that machine
All I got was wget, so this is clean
IP tables have no rules, but netstat is showing traces of WG. Two of the interface names are the same as WG config name I used
What’s push to talk and why is it such a great feature?
My gf used that when she migrated from Spotify to tidal. Worked quite well for that, but I’m not sure how it can work for recommendations though
Sure!
I used the integration to fill in the gaps I have in my personal collection. With tidal, I could start playing my own music and plexamp would just drop in some new songs for me.
It would create some playlists based on what I listened to, which again helped to discover new music.
I could just start using tidal, but that means turning my back on my personal collection. Or I could give up tidal, but that means losing the recommendations.
I’m asking here for help with the latter
Everyone calls themselves senior because that’s the only type of position recruiters look for.
I’m a mid level dev, but I’m encouraged by recruiters to apply for senior positions because their clients are actually looking for a range of levels
