The headline alone is already saying that this is not just another remaster or re-release of the original game. It’s a full on remake. There are significant differences as a result from top to bottom. Just the overall plot is the same.

This is not a remaster.

I’m more curious how .ml users feel about that mod’s idea that rape is an acceptable action to do in certain contexts, for example if a woman served in a Western military.
I can understand all their political positions and opinions but that one seems beyond the pale.

@Eldritch@piefed.world’s comment covers it. Dark scenes are what are hit first and most by compression which is why dark scenes in YIFY encodes look like they’re made of MegaBloks.

If “unethical” means “things Nvidia doesn’t want you to do”, then yes.

Because Spider-Man was a very popular, well-recived game both critically and commercially, from the same studio.
They had a standard of expectation and didn’t meet it.

It was 14 years between those games. It’s a good mechanic that deserved to be dusted off. There were a bunch of other Spiderman games between them that didn’t do it. The Insomniac Spiderman had better everything else too, people really forget what that old Spider-Man 2 game was like outside of the swinging mechanics.

HL2’s airboat and vehicle sections weren’t on-rails like this. You could get out and explore at any point with all the mechanics available to you. They even made it into a gigantic wave defense set piece for the final battle at the end of Episode 2.

Note the absence of any sentiment like “because he has more money than me”.

Seems how? They didn’t say anything like that. You think the issue with this guy is because he’s rich and nothing else?
The funny thing is I’ve seen people saying the exact same thing you are to people laughing at Charlie Kirk getting killed, while doing their best to ignore all the things he stood for, said, and did. Right down to immediately accusing the person of adopting (an incorrect idea of) Nazism by not valuing all lives as precious. Just think about the brainpower behind people who think those laughing at Charlie Kirk are like the Nazis but not Charlie “Civil Rights was a mistake” Kirk.
There’s gotta be a term for people who get all righteous about treating all lives as precious while they ignore that the person in question actively makes the world worse.

Why are you telling someone who looks down on CEOs that he should also hate Jews alongside the Nazis?

Been happening across many public trackers, and I’ve even seen it happen in Funfile. Best to filter out .lnk, .exe, and .zipx filetypes from your download client.

I once saw a company block Firefox through its corporately mandated antivirus software.

It’s not very pro AI, it’s just not rabidly anti AI. There have been too many pitfalls with AI causing major issues in the piracy world to be very pro AI as pirates.
Either way, nothing on this list seems to be for AI acceptance reasons.

Except Mullvad put out that statement in question as a defense. Their response is enough to turn people off the company.

Having a pre-calibrated profile from someone else with the same model is better than nothing. A second-hand colour probe is not easily available in all regions, and buying a new one for use maybe twice a year isn’t a worthwhile investment for most people since they’re only useful for monitors, not TVs. Especially now when OLED monitors are more common, and those require even more expensive colorimeters.

You didn’t even open the link to realize it’s not an article huh

Tankie saying everyone else is sheeple while espousing conspiracy theory YouTube playlist as objective truth.

Oh yes, that’s good. Didn’t even think about that. I’m so used to seeing -rf that I didn’t even register what I was looking at for a second.
I don’t believe for a second a single person ever said that.
