I keep both but in the same library.
I keep both but in the same library.
You know a torrent site that has German releases?
Mine aren’t even on the list :(
I just recently upgraded from my 2 bay NAS, simply because I ran out of storage and attaching more drives via USB just seemed silly at this point (I was already at 5).
I now have a DS2422+ 12 bay with 6x 20TB plates. And I very much expect the NAS to last past 10 years. HDDs can be added and replaced if you have raid setup. Not very feasible in 2 bay NAS.
So copy it off the old mediums?
Physical media in the sense that you actually own the hardware where it’s stored? That’s an absolute must!
But personally I wouldn’t want to deal with CDs and other outdated mediums.
Still makes more sense than this post.
If you follow some of the links to pirate sites in the article you’ll get redirected to some anti-piracy site which amongst other things tells you this:
Bitch … that’s literally the reason I pirate.
Around 280€.
I was just relating to it yesterday after I got off work and was drained.
Hopefully you’re filled now, I am! As a fellow developer, I totally got your comment.
At the end of any pirated content there is some guy that actually “ripped” it. Someone that probably payed for it that then decided to share the copy with the world.
I think this community is generally very piratey and not controlled by bots. If you can’t find anyone willing ripping a specific source of content … well, that’s quite telling.
You want Nebula content to be piratable? Go rip and seed it.
I agree, even though I stand accused. I’m looking into ways to pirate nebula. All of it. Their entire DB is only around 30TB.
But when I do, won’t share for now. A pirate can respect and spare a worthy cause from being plundered.
I wonder if the $300 is sort of like extra startup money to get better hardware, infrastructure, software improvements in the short term
Yes, it totally is. It says so in the video I was refering to. They basically needed some capital but didn’t want to be accountable to traditional investors. He explains it much better in the video.
I work at an IT company and we regularly supply hardware to clients. So I got these at B2B retail prices. My boss basically just handed me the bill the supplier issued to the company and said “you pay it”.
I don’t think I could drop $1k for that many.
I wish I could have … storage is apprently way cheaper in the US.
but that means you need to give up a bay slot for the system sdd, right?
What does “using” mean? It’s definitly a hoarding situation. I mostly store TV shows and movies. But I only watch a tiny fraction of them.
It’s not hoarding … I’m actually archiving. Or something you tell yourself. Shut up, I don’t need a reason. I don’t have a Problem, leave me alone.
I don’t think 20TB SSDs exist, and if they do I probably couldn’t afford one in a few hundred years.
That file name contains the S3E7 bit, which is enough for it to get parsed by plex. Seems to be a jellyfin issue.
