They also serve you their version of the show with ads if you have the same show on your Plex. I have Ghost in the Shell S.A.C on Plex and I’ve never watched their version but it sure as shit showed up in my “continue watching”. The same thing happened when my gf was watching Midsomer Murders.
I definitely agree, it’s advertised as private, when really it’s more “open” so that it’s not profitable I think
I definitely think it’s important to make people aware of the difference in the fedeiverse. Especially since that is not how it worked in non-federated social media
https://spacebar.chat/ looks like it will eventually be good, it looks like it’s in its infancy right now though
Yeah I say glitch because there are reports that, despite disabling it, and fully shutting down your PC, it still doesn’t release the lock, it does that for me. I guess really I should call it intentional malware.
You can, you just need to make sure you run ntfsfix to remove the write hold windows puts on NTFS drives. See my other comment

Windows writ locks NTFS drives, it’s a hibernation glitch, to fix:
sudo ntfsfix /dev/DRIVENAME
A lot of Linux distros have ntfsfix installed but you may have to add it yourself via apt, dnf, or yum depending on your distro

THAT’S WHATS DRAINING MY BATTERY! I’ve been trying to figure it out, I knew it was draining quicker because of that but never really our two and two together
When my home server crashed itself from lack of storage lol, I like to keep a 2 to 6tb buffer these days
When I installed pop! Os (on my ssd) it was laggy and a little glitchy, it’s like the whole os would just freeze up sometimes. It really got on my nerves. I prefer nobara, it’s so snappy and fast, everything just feels better than windows, and it’s way more customizable. But there is definitely a higher learning curve and some small weird glitches you have to deal with so I wouldn’t recommend it to someone without intermediate knowledge
I think it’s a hepatitis pamphlet
I think it should be supported for a decade and the open sourced so that it can be archived and maintained by those who care.
My opinion is that they need to leave it tf alone for the most part and just do updates and good features. Let phone makers do with it what they want.
Does this mean that windows updates will no longer bork Linux?
There are hundreds of servers, and hundreds of thousands of users, so yeah, there’s that many lol
Connect gives me issues because I’m subscribed to over 600 communities, something with how the sidebar renders that community list destroys the app, also the animations aren’t very refined, and there’s a lot of text and multi button clicks for things that could be single button presses.
This will most likely get better over time, but until then, I’m definitely using boost or sync.
That’s Google’s fault, not the dev’s. He’s just trying to make a living.
I use the built in wireguard VPN in my router. If you just need local network access elsewhere it’s usually really easy to setup if your router provides it. I would look into it!
