I had the HTC One X which was literally hot. I couldn’t use it for a few minutes without it burning my hands.
Not cool.

You are probably going to say “but those are Lenovo laptops, not Motorola phones”.
Lenovo owns Motorola. If you want to trust the company feel free to do so.
I am never going to buy a phone from a company with strong ties with the CCP, and a history of installing spyware on its products.
Because Android multitasking is inefficient with memory use.
My Palm Pilot had 512 kB of RAM and it could multi-task properly. When I re-open an app on Palm, I could always get back to EXACTLY where it was left off. Palm OS saves the app state before swapping it out of the RAM.
Android apps have to completely restart from fresh after being closed. It multi-tasks by keeping apps running in memory. But you are never going to have enough RAM for the apps if you use a variety of apps.
Samsung’s RAM Plus does something similar, but the apps are not designed to be efficient for virtual memory.
What if more and more hobbyists and volunteers work on the project, just like the majority of Linux development?
I don’t need more features. I want more high-quality content. We need more users.

Perhaps you can write “ActivityPub” going forward? I know this is the fediverse community, but “AP” can mean different things to different people.

The Nexus 7’s data storage became extremely slow after a while. The device became completely unusable.
A short while after the Nexus 7, many mobile phones screen got bigger, so the 7-inch screen size became sort of obsolete.
