I guess it’s due to unnecessary risk and lazyness of not wanting to get a domain for TLS. Mostly the unnecessary risk, like why expose it when I don’t have to.

I saw that you said windows is on SSD and Linux on NVME. Sounds like modern PC. In my case, I use the motherboard’s boot menu. It asks which drive I want to boot from. If I need windows, I choose the drive which has it. If I need to reinstall, I remove the other drive. I don’t need grub to probe other drives. Plus, grub menu books super clean.

When the tears of the kingdom came out, some people complained it was too expensive (at least on R- ). Some hinted it could (would/did) lead to higher prices. In the end, sales did well enougb (I think). And so here we are. But also tarrifs.
