This. Can’t believe we’re seeing “lol Reddit sucks” when this is a country-wide implementation and has nothing to do with Reddit in particular.
Careful with those laptops though, they run really hot. I have the same one and my dedicated GPU is broken, possibly from overheating but I will admit I can’t know for sure.
Huge W imo
Repairability: Manufacturers must make critical spare parts available within 5 to 10 working days, and continue offering them for 7 years after the product is no longer sold in the EU.
abbreviation wave !!r
Arbitration waiver*
The github discussion is interesting. I don’t think the arbitration clause is going to hold
He’s a former marketing lead of Nintendo, so completely dismissing him as a “podcaster” feels not entirely fair.
He doesn’t know everything, but he’s got a pretty good idea being there for 13 years during the Wii, Wii U and Switch era
It doesn’t really answer the question where the money is going, does it? Only why it’s being charged.
Edit:
Revenue from ticket sales goes to: paying for our online venue (QiQo), various supporting web services and automation, human support and facilitation, various promotional activities (handouts, stickers at other events, direct promotion to potential attendees / software demo participants / session hosts, social media), website management, graphic design, the editing of session notes and the production of demo videos published after the event, accounting and other bureaucracy and more.

Unsure if it’s my style, but it looks interesting
Does anyone know the game in the thumbnail?
The real guide is still either outdated or doesn’t take into account that there’s a lot more steps. But considering it’s been 2 years, I don’t hold that against the author
I think that’s too simplified and it will create expectations that aren’t true, because It’s more like this:
Read & agree to Mastadon rules
Read & agree to (instance) privacy terms
Create account
Tap the verification link in your email
Solve the Captcha
Get a list of people/users to follow (why these people? What is it based on?)
Setup profile
Done!
The original Switch has this feature too, but it’s just vibration instead of also beeping.
Do you split the bill 50:50 or 5:5?
You’re gonna be constructive about this or just call names? Also, FS hasn’t posted for what feels like months.
If you long press on a comment for actions and then hit “user”, you see the option to add a label at the bottom of that menu.
A bit hidden, I agree, but very useful.
Would be a great selling point over centralized alternatives too. “take control of your own experience” and all that. Reddit will never be able to achieve that level
You’re very right. Blocking when they are being an asshole is just putting your head in the sand. It might feel petty but remember that others are probably also impacted by their shitty behaviour.
Thunder too, installed it specifically for user tags!
That’s pretty awesome of you, thanks!
I don’t fully understand the controversy here.
Aren’t game key cards just digital keys but shipped physically? How is this any different than with the Switch 1, that only did digital and physical depending on the developer / publisher?
