Aren’t game key cards just digital keys but shipped physically? How is this any different than with the Switch 1, that only did digital and physical depending on the developer / publisher?

I think that’s too simplified and it will create expectations that aren’t true, because It’s more like this:

1. Choose instance

2. Read & agree to Mastadon rules

3. Read & agree to (instance) privacy terms

4. Create account

5. Tap the verification link in your email

6. Solve the Captcha

7. Get a list of people/users to follow (why these people? What is it based on?)

8. Setup profile

9. Done!

The original Switch has this feature too, but it’s just vibration instead of also beeping.
