17·9 months agoUnrelated but I got banned from the atheist memes community for calling one of the mods memes a boomer Facebook meme.
Average Linux user when you tell them you actually like using Windows.
Especially when you see the same couple of people with profile pics post everywhere.
I dont use twitter so I never understood the CSAM stuff. Did you follow accounts that post it or between it? Or does twitter have like a tiktok style for you page now and you get it recommended to you?
The 2026 one doesn’t pass over much land or near many major population centres, and a lot of Europeans are going to try and see it, so it’s going to be very difficult to go see it, especially if you’re an American.
I feel like theres got to be a way to do the same concept but have it be a bit less hideous.

Yeah this was always going to happen after a big rush. On any website a certain % of users that sign up won’t like it and will move on. If you have a steady influx of users, you wouldn’t notice it, but because of lemmys explosive growth due to reddit shitting its pants, then just like we saw a tonne of people leave at once, were now seeing a tonne of people leave at once, and now that that explosive user growth is normalising, for a short time we will see an overall decline in users until the amount of leavers normalises as well.
If were still losing people in a month, then we should be worried.
Anyone that uses woke like that is just outing themselves as having more toes than braincells
I just want them to make a true flagship phone. I personally wouldn’t mind paying extra for a more ethical phone, if it had all the bells and whistles and wasn’t half obsolete straight out of the box.
