Often the software reporting the error does not know itself. If the cause of the error could have been antipicated, it could also have been prevented.

AFAIK that would just be hiding them. That means you dont benefit from the minor performance boost you get from turning it off in the configuration.

This. I created my account in 2020 waaaay before the reddit API thing. If I remember correctly, there were just three instances available. Yet a majority of instances block .ml because of tankies and the admins and stuff. I just wanna browse memes, fuck me right? (Insert meme)
