Here’s the final round. Honestly, the robots did better than I expected. This is fun, but I think we’re 5-10 years away from CCP giving these robots guns and deploying them against humans.

They can’t all be spectra.video or lethallava.land . We need a Lemmy instance with some real market research money going into the domain.
I send people links to Photon to show people how nice everything is here. Concise, typeable URLs help where possible.
That sounds cool, but it’s broken for me. The Reddit login page gives me a 500 server error. I want to point my old subreddit at my Mbin magazine, but it seems to require logging in with Reddit to do much of anything.
Heck yeah! I’ve been trying to replicate /r/FloatingIsFun’s post flairs for years on !FloatingIsFun@fedia.io . PieFed makes everything look better. I hope Lemmy and Mbin add these post flairs too. Mbin tags get halfway there but it’s not the same.
Besides Mbin, I’ve been using Sharkey a lot. It’s really nice! I also want to use Peertube and Owncast more.
You got Nicoled. There’s a community for this now, so post it there instead. !nicole@feddit.org
lm.korako.me is a Japanese Lemmy instance run by @karasu_sue@lm.korako.me . It’s small, but it counts!
I’d love to see a revised map with all these ones from the comments added in.
!Greece@fedia.io is an Mbin community with the most threads in all of Mbin. Even more than mine!
In desktop Firefox, Ctrl+Shift+C lets you click on an element and inspect it. Then, just press the Delete key. Page scripts can’t block this. On mobile, you have to rely on adding more filter lists.
Megaupload. It was like the Library of Alexandria burning down. Not just pirated stuff, either.
Whoa… !FloatingIsFun@fedia.io looks really good in PieFed’s tile views! It’s kind of what I was going for with my CSS. I think PieFed has a ton of potential, and I want to mess around with it more.
@Jerry@hear-me.social, if you just saw a spike of like 1GB of data getting federated in, that was me manually retrieving my first few hundred posts.
Edit: Oops, I tagged the wrong instance admin named Jerry!
would’ve been fun if the local magazines were somewhat more active.
I originally chose Kbin/Mbin over Lemmy because of the added support for Mastodon-like posts, but it’s still suffers from wonky early adopter stuff. I still rather like Mbin’s interface more than Lemmy’s defaults, though Lemmy’s support for third party front ends is very cool. Whichever way you go, I’m happy that Mbin and Lemmy have access to all the same content. Mbin could grow more if some of a magazine’s custom CSS could federate to other instances, or if it supported bots like Lemmy.
Oh dang, I’m gonna have to look into PieFed, though. That looks good! I’d like to see how my community looks, but I think a registered piefed.social user has to do this community lookup for federation to begin.

Come to Mbin! We have active developers!
Cool! Thanks for the Floating Is Fun shout out! I wish that CSS would federate to other instances, even if it’s just a header image like Lemmy communities get. You Lemmy users can still use interfaces like Photon and Voyager, and it looks great on those.
As for me, I like these ones: !wordle@lemmy.world - I comment my puzzle results in there everyday !news@beehaw.org - Good reliable world news that covers important events !usnews@beehaw.org - I’m American and this is better than most of our news outlets !comicstrips@lemmy.world - Good single-serving comics in my feed !vgmusic@lemmy.world - Sometimes I throw video game music at them @MentalEdge@sopuli.xyz - Not a community, but I end up following MentalEdge to a lot of the communities they frequent
I first read “Xian” as “fan of Xi Jinping”, and then this comment would have made sense. But no, Joe Rogan claims to have become a Christian.
