Just curious, what was the male version?
I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.
The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.
Just curious, what was the male version?
My hopes raised and expertly dashed. 🙃
I’m also a nova refugee after loving it for years. Currently using Before. It’s list based that functionally makes me use search a lot. But it’s quick, clean and while not particularly feature rich. It does have a lot of personalization and customization, such as setting any font type ya can download.
I renamed all my apps to what they are actually used for. Where? is maps, What? is my to do list, Huh? controls my hearing aid.
Some are sure, but there are many different ways to make vegan cheese that produce wildly different results. IMO the cashew based ones are best. If you can find it at your local store, Myokos mozzarella for pizzas is absolutely divine.
Many understands that oil companies had a massive disinformation campaign to discredit climate change science. Yet few understand that animal agriculture has done exactly the same. To say plant based diets are more environmentally taxing than animal based is like saying windmills and solar are the true cause of climate change.
I’m not telling anyone what to do, but the data is has been shown many times, in many ways, by many studies. To be a climate change skeptic goes hand-in-hand with being an environmental vegan skeptic.
I finished it as a hate read, hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Just a packet of clichés wrapped around nerd nostalgia. I absolutely lost it when a chapter was literally just reciting an 80s movie word for word. 🤣
Yeah, odd inclusion. Duckduckgo is indeed a search enginge, but it’s essentially just a front end for Bing.
Yeeeah, I’m kinda surprised people are feeling hype for this? Idk. I’m probably gonna try and snag one but ONLY because a few years ago my ex got the switch in the breakup. If I already had a switch what exactly are the reasons to buy an upgrade?
I simmarily roll my eyes when people volunteer “I’ll go vegan as soon as lab grown meat is cheap, healthy and indistinguishable.” Every meat eater says this to me at some point.
Like okay, that’s nice? Lots of us live and thrive just fine without it, but even when all your hurdles are passed you’ll find some other reason.
Just own it and say you don’t care. Stop lying.
Well said. But… I gotta ask…
sincerely, a professional vibe-checker (like, actually).
Yeah? Does that mean some degree of hiring manager?
Okay, but can you understand how that logic isn’t very consistent? Bad Blood itself is itself explicitly transphobic (a male killer dressing as a woman specfically to stalk women in the bathroom), it’s inherently biased bigoted propaganda. So discussion of the text would be allowed in literature section. Just not if it were transphobic?
You are trying to have it both ways. It’s easy enough to say you won’t allow transphobic content, but not to understand what that is nor listen trans folk pointing it out.
I mean frankly, you are gonna have the community regardless what I or any other trans person say, which is your right. Just please acknowledge that this isnt how an ally would act. It’s actively cognitive dissonance to have a nontransphobic discussion of Bad Blood or any of Rowlings work.
it has a no tolerancy policy against transphobia
Does this include discussion of Rowlings current work like Bad Blood?
I ask because it gets to the core of why “separate art from artist” can’t apply when you are promoting the works of active bigots. Reading Poe or Seuss harms no one, but starting a community to promote upcoming projects from a bigots, such as the TV show or the games.
It feels HP fans want to have their cake and eat it to, you can’t be a trans ally AND be promoting the works of someone who uses that capital to actively harm trans folk. Which is why so many trans people are asking you to stop.
HA!
I feel like I should be annoyed at the headline, but honestly it’s clever. Veganism isn’t just a diet, but an ethical framework on minimizing harm so this fits all three aspects in the articles.
I support artists who had their work stolen as part of dataset, it’s largely the same reason I don’t eat animals, it’s all about consent. Being harmed without consent is always wrong.
Likewise the environmental footprint of meat and AI are massive and unnecessary. The carbon footprint between meat and plant protein is massive, just like the difference between building more data centers and supporting existing artists.
AI is bad for your mental health, we don’t really have complete research on what exactly AI does to our brains but I’ve seen enough people thinking they “unlocked sentience”, became “digital gods” and started AI “relationships” to steer clear for my own protection. Not dissimilar to the studies that show a plant based diet is better for your heart and immune system. I’d still be eating plants even if it were bad for my health, I care more about the ethical side, but existing research very much shows it as a net positive.
Neat concept.
